I am creative – as a way of living. Not so much in a traditional way as a musician, dancer, painter… though I love all three of those arts. Creativity is woven into my way of being. I become so inspired when it comes to finding solutions, even for the smallest problems in everyday life. It is how I do healing and mentoring work – with lots of love, soul wisdom and creativity – because a solution for a problem exists not on the level of the problem. It needs a shift in consciousness, a new perspective, a new way of feeling and being in order to solve and release the old, which for me ist best described as a creative process.
The creative rainbow mother:
Also, as a mother, I do things more in a creative than structured way. Our days are filled with seasonal activities that involve crafting and decorating, we also dance together and often I let the magic of the moment in to see what wants to be created. That can be moments of sharing feelings, crafting a lantern for the dark hours, baking a cake, telling a story.
Not an artist?
You can be creative without being an artist in the traditional way. I put myself way too long into that box, asking myself if I am an artist or not. Instead of embracing my creativity, I looked for all the ways that proved that I am not an artist (because I never became really good at one artistic skill). It is so freeing to understand that I am an artist, in a broad and wide way, that life is my canvas!
Do you want to reignite your creativity?
Here is some plant spirit medicine that helps you to open up your creative (inner) space:
- Citrus Bliss essential oil blend from doTERRA- with Citrus essential oils and Vanilla – so sweet and heart warming and inspiring at the same time. I love diffusing this oil blend when I feel a bit stuck and uninspired.
- Rock Water Bach Flower – gets you back into flow when you are stuck in fixed thoughts and ideas
- Hornbeam- for fresh inspiration and to overcome the Monday morning feeling
- Larch – in case you feel like you are not good enough, low self-esteem.
Do you allow yourself to be an artist? To embrace your creativity everyday without needing to create artistic masterpieces?
From my heart to yours,
